Frames is a focused tool for film photographers who want to document, organise and revisit their analogue process with precision. Evolving from its predecessor, Datafilm, it builds on that foundation with a smoother experience and deeper metadata control. Compared to Exitfools, which can feel disjointed or overly manual, Frames offers a cleaner and more practical way to track your rolls, enrich your scans and bring structure to the entire shooting-to-scanning workflow. With Frames, you can record lens, film stock, camera, exposure settings, and location data, then seamlessly merge that metadata back into your scanned images, keeping your archive both rich and future-proof.

Frames is a deeply personal project. It started with my dad’s old camera and the afternoons he spent teaching me how to shoot film, those memories shaped the way I see photography, and ultimately inspired me to build this. Frames isn’t backed by a company or built for hype; it’s just me, pouring time into every detail and listening closely to the people who use it.
